Mp3room.com and IndependentRecordCompany.com are owned and operated by BlackLabel WebDesign.  BlackLabel WebDesign is a company started by Jayson Lockyer and Mark Johnston in April 2004.  The Mission of our first two website creations, Mp3room.com and IndependentRecordCompany.com, is to promote, showcase and create exposure for the music of independent bands.  We do this by posting original music on our site and by making it available for friends and fans to download.  We strive to post the highest quality recordings on our site and make them as accessible as possible to all music fans. All profits from our company go back into the development and promotion of the bands and the sites.

  Jayson’s experience as a musician and webpage designer combined with Mark’s experience in business operations and marketing has created a great partnership.  Additionally, Jayson and Mark are huge music fans and have always craved the independent music scene.
